Craig Stoneman – Executive Chef
Born and raised in England, Executive Chef Stoneman has worked in the hotel industry for over 30 years.
With a solid foundation of international experience Chef Stoneman immigrated to Canada in 1982 to become the opening Sous Chef for the renowned King Edward Hotel in Toronto. Chef Stoneman was honoured as one of the original members of Culinary Team Victoria and competed in competitions held throughout Canada and the United States. |
Chef Stoneman joined the opening team of the Delta Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort and Spa as Executive Chef in 1992.

Dan Bain – Restaurant Chef
Raised on the bounty of Vancouver Island, fired with a passion for marine biology and inspired to present the finest local ingredients with fresh culinary artistry, Chef Bain personifies LURE.
From his early days at the Bluenose Restaurant in Cowichan Bay Chef Bain progressed through the ranks at various Vancouver Island restaurants and joined the Earls culinary team to become one of their top restaurant chefs.

In 2005, Chef Bain joined the Delta Victoria Ocean Pointe and continued his professional growth. Having served with great acclaim as LURE Restaurant saucier for 3 years and distinguishing himself as a leader within the brigade, he was tapped to become LURE Restaurant Chef in 2011.
